India is the growth market for analytical science. Enter it with the right partner.
Spectrolab Systems represents international manufacturers in India the way we represent Specac Ltd (UK): applications-led selling, disciplined brand handling, and the import machinery already in place. If you build instruments, sampling accessories, optics or laboratory consumables, we should talk.
What a principal gets from day one
In-house customs & import capability
Our group includes Bruce Logistics — a licensed customs broking and freight forwarding company. Your products are classified correctly, cleared efficiently and landed at a cost we control. Most distributors outsource this; we own it.
An authorised-channel track record
We are the authorised Indian distributor for Specac Ltd (UK) — a principal relationship built on correct representation, protected pricing and manufacturer-warranty discipline. References available on request.
Institutional & government access
Universities, national research institutions, PSU and government laboratories — including public procurement through GeM, where international manufacturers cannot easily transact directly.
A digital demand engine
Search-optimised technical content, an interactive accessory selector, a sample-preparation knowledge hub and structured email and LinkedIn programmes — inbound enquiry generation, not just outbound calling.
Applications-led, not catalogue-led
We sell by specifying the right solution for the sample. That protects your brand's reputation, reduces returns and builds the repeat consumable business that makes a distributorship durable.
Mumbai — India's trade gateway
Headquartered at Andheri West, Mumbai, minutes from the country's principal air and sea cargo infrastructure, with despatch across India and export re-supply capability for the wider region.
What we are looking to represent
Our theme is sampling solutions for every analytical technique, with a particular welcome for instrument manufacturers and for any technology that analyses with light:
- Spectroscopy instruments — FTIR, Raman, UV-Vis-NIR, fluorescence, hyperspectral and THz systems
- Photonics-based analytical technologies — light sources, detectors, optics and imaging for analysis
- Benchtop and portable analytical instruments
- Sample-preparation instruments — mills, fusion, digestion and homogenisation
- Chromatography and elemental-analysis consumables
- Laboratory consumables, reference materials and calibration standards
One firm principle: we do not represent lines that compete with our existing principals — manufacturers of FTIR sampling accessories are respectfully out of scope. The discipline that protects our current principal is the discipline that will protect you.
Engagement models: exclusive or non-exclusive distribution, importer-of-record arrangements, and market-entry pilots with agreed milestones. We respond to every serious manufacturer enquiry within two working days.
